A professor in the School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication (ATEC) at The University of Texas at Dallas, burrough is the Area Head of Design + Creative Practice. She teaches courses in Culture Jamming, Creativity as Social Practice, and Computational Studio Projects; and spearheads the Pop-up Locker Exhibition with Dale MacDonald.
burrough is Creative Director of LabSynthE, a framework for collaboration in the School of ATEC. Founded by Frank Dufour, LabSynthE is a laboratory for the creative development of synthetic & electronic poetry.
